The legal framework and obligations of the Republic of Tajikistan in relation to the EITI on issues related to respect for human rights and interaction with civil society
Tajikistan has officially joined the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) as a candidate in 2013, and became a full member in 2014. The EITI Council in Tajikistan was established by Resolution No. 449 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 31, 2012. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the implementation of the EITI process in the country, with the Deputy Minister heading the Council.
